“We were offered a nice table next to the window as requested with much needed cushions for my sore back. We both had sirloin steaks which was cooked to perfection. The chips and peppercorn sauce was tasty but couldn't finish as the food was too salty. Please consider people on restricted diets due to health conditions ie. Low sugar, low salt. Cocktails were good (made without sugar syrup) but expensive. Appreciate 241's :).”

“I booked a low table but high table was reserved. I was even told I should have booked a low table! I DID! We were served by two different young men, the first one was rather hit and miss, the second one was fab. Food, the tender stem was deffinatley not tender, like string and I had to pull it out of my teeth. But the steak was cooked just right as was hubby's chicken traders. We had cheesecake for dessert, gorgeous.”

“The 4 of us loved our Sunday Lunch and will come back again soon. Everything was fresh with plenty of fresh vegetables. My Beef sirloin was perfectly pink, and I'm told the lamb was good too. We were too full to have a dessert. The drinks menu was also good. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as we are not football fans and it was the last match of the season, it wasn't noisy and didn't make any difference to our enjoyment though.”

There was a slight delay in service due to a large table, but the service kept us informed and were very apologetic, though we were fine with the wait. The food was fantastic and well worth the small wait. We will be back again.”

“Very noisy atmosphere little room between tables one of our party had to get the customer in the next table to move his chair to get into the table and sit comfortably i think all dining customers should be in a seperate area . The food is good the steak cooked as requested . The taste of the steak was good but not exceptional we get all our meat from a farmer the steak has more taste. The price is comparable to other steak establishments. The wine is expensive but nice . The lettuce with stilton and walnuts was very nice I wish id had a large version of at rather than the steak . I ate the meat the chips were average but then im used to home made chips. The service was exceptional attentive staff who were professional. Would I return ? Possibly as our friends like it . I feel the main thing for me was the environment we had to speak quite loudly to have a conversation and it wasn't very comfortable the seats hurt my back and it was very loud my husband even got a bad cramp in his legs.”
